Investigation and Conflicting Statements
The Hathidah police have started an investigation based on a written application from the victim’s father, Vinod Ram. While preliminary reports from the family suggested she was filming a social media reel, Sakshi later claimed she was standing near the door because she felt unwell and hot. Police are looking into the exact circumstances of the fall. This event highlights the dangers of standing near open doors on moving trains, especially on bridges. Railway officials continue to advise passengers against using mobile phones for photography in high-risk zones.
