A major infrastructure project is nearing completion to connect Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh via a direct 276 km rail link. This new line spans across five districts, including Kota, Jhalawar, Rajgarh, Sehore, and Bhopal. It is expected to significantly reduce travel time for passengers who currently have to travel via longer routes through Nagda or Bina. The project aims to make the journey between Kota and Bhopal shorter by nearly 100 kilometers.
