These trains will connect major cities in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and West Bengal, providing much-needed relief to travelers facing waitlisted tickets. Booking for these special services has officially commenced for the upcoming travel season starting from April 2026.

List of Special Trains via Prayagraj and Subedarganj
- Khatipura (Jaipur) – Howrah Weekly Special (09707/09708): Operates every Wednesday from Khatipura and Friday from Howrah via Subedarganj.
- Jodhpur – Asansol Weekly Special (04819/04820): Runs every Tuesday from Jodhpur and Thursday from Asansol via Subedarganj.
- Madar (Ajmer) – Kolkata Weekly Special (09605/09606): Operates every Friday from Madar and Sunday from Kolkata via Subedarganj.
- Sabarmati – Asansol Special (09435/09436): Connects Sabarmati and Asansol via Prayagraj Junction every Friday and Sunday.
- Subedarganj – Bandra Terminus (04125/04126): Weekly service to Mumbai starting from April 6 to July 13.
