Advocacy and Local Support
The realization of this service follows persistent advocacy from local stakeholders. Former District Council member Ashutosh Kumar played a pivotal role in lobbying the Ministry of Railways, supported by the initiative of Union Minister and local MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh). Ashutosh Kumar expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary in bringing this project to fruition. This service is expected to significantly strengthen the socio-economic ties between eastern Bihar and Gujarat, providing a reliable and comfortable transit option for thousands of regular commuters.
