Special Ticket Inquiry Campaign Launch
An official from the Ferozepur Railway Division announced the initiation of a special ticket inquiry campaign, which is being conducted as per the directives of the headquarters. This campaign commenced on April 22 and is set to continue until May 21, 2025. The operation is overseen by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri Paramdeep Singh Saini, under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Sanjay Sahu.
Revenue and Passenger Engagement
Since the launch of the campaign, over 2.66 crore rupees have been collected from more than 39 thousand passengers. The ticket checks are being conducted on various trains, including the Ganga Sutlej Express, Ferozepur-Patna Summer Special, Malwa Superfast Express, Amrapali Express, Amritsar Howrah Mail, Begumpura Express, Saharsa Garib Rath Express, Jammutvi Express, and Sachkhand Express, among others.
Passenger Safety and Compliance
As part of the campaign, passengers are encouraged to utilize digital payment options to avoid carrying cash, which can be a security risk. They are also advised against carrying flammable items and are instructed to use foot over bridges (FOB) for changing platforms. Additionally, travelers must present a valid identity card during their journey. The ticket checking campaign will be implemented across all lines of the board.
