Vande Bharat Sleeper Train to Feature Charging Points, RO Water System for Passengers on Gorakhpur-Prayagraj Route

Railways is introducing some new facilities in Vande Bharat sleeper trains to make travel more comfortable and modern. The latest updates include charging points and RO water systems for passengers.

The trains will have advanced suspension and braking systems. This means that even at high speeds, passengers will not feel any jolts while traveling.


For safety, the trains will be equipped with CCTV cameras. The staircases have also been designed to help elderly people, children, and shorter passengers easily board the train.

Each seat will come with individual lights and charging points. Moreover, the trains will feature several pantries to provide easy access to food and drinks for everyone on board.


Currently, more than 180 Vande Bharat trains are in operation. The installation of RO water systems is underway, ensuring passengers can get cold and hot water for free during their journey.
