What is the reason for this mega block
Station Superintendent Bhanu Pratap confirmed that the Railway Board approved the modernization of the old washing lines. This project aims to develop new pit lines to increase the speed and operational capacity of trains on the Moradabad-Lucknow section. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mahesh Yadav also mentioned that some trains will be diverted due to tamping work on the Moradabad-Bareilly section.
Impact on passengers and ticket bookings
Chief Commercial Inspector Imran stated that advance ticket bookings for the Bareilly-Lokmanya Tilak and Bareilly-Indore Express have been stopped. While some trains are cancelled, others like the Indore-Bareilly Express have been diverted via Bina, Guna, and Gwalior. The Aligarh-Bareilly Passenger (54351) will run on July 11 but will be delayed by 90 minutes.
