The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has officially launched a new Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train package, designed to offer pilgrims a seamless spiritual journey across four sacred Jyotirlingas and the world-famous Statue of Unity. This 10-day, 9-night excursion is scheduled to depart from Gorakhpur on August 17, 2026, and will conclude its journey on August 26, 2026. The initiative is part of the broader Bharat Gaurav scheme, aimed at promoting India’s rich cultural and religious heritage through dedicated rail tourism.

The carefully curated itinerary covers significant religious sites in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, including the Signature Bridge. During a press conference held at Gorakhpur Railway Station, IRCTC Joint General Manager V.N. Shukla and Manager Navneet Goyal shared that the package is designed for maximum passenger comfort. Travelers will be provided with daily vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with AC and non-AC bus arrangements for local sightseeing at each destination.
Pricing and Booking Details
To accommodate different budgets, IRCTC has introduced three travel classes for this tour. The per-person pricing is set at ₹18,380 for Sleeper Class, ₹29,570 for Third AC, and ₹38,870 for Second AC. For added convenience, the corporation has enabled EMI payment options, and eligible government employees can avail of the Leave Travel Concession (LTC) facility for this trip.
Passengers can board or de-board the train at several key stations, including Gorakhpur, Mankapur, Ayodhya Cantt, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh Junction, Prayagraj Sangam, Raebareli, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Orai, Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, and Lalitpur.
