To manage the rising passenger footfall during the upcoming festive season, North Western Railway has introduced a daily special train service between Madar and Narnaul. This service commenced on August 15 and is scheduled to operate until September 24, 2026, completing a total of 41 trips. The introduction of this train comes as a significant relief for commuters who were facing connectivity issues due to the temporary suspension of other trains in the region.
Key highlights of the new service:
- Train 09640 (Narnaul-Madar) departs Narnaul daily at 4:20 PM and reaches Madar at 10:35 PM.
- Train 09639 (Madar-Narnaul) departs Madar daily at 4:30 AM and reaches Narnaul at 9:15 AM.
- The train composition includes nine coaches in total, featuring seven general class coaches and two guard-cum-luggage vans.
- The service will remain operational until September 24, 2026.
Strategic Connectivity and Stoppages
According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, this initiative is specifically designed to accommodate passengers affected by the 48-day suspension of other regular services on this route. By providing additional seating capacity, the railway aims to streamline travel for thousands of commuters during the peak festival period.
Both the 09639 and 09640 services will follow an identical route, ensuring connectivity across several key stations. The trains will halt at Kishangarh, Naraina, Phulera, Renwal, Badhal, Ringas, Shri Madhopur, Kanwat, Bhagega, Neem Ka Thana, Maonda, Dabla, and Nizampur.
Railway officials have urged passengers to check the official timings and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid any last-minute inconvenience. With the inclusion of these nine coaches, the railway is better equipped to manage the surge in traffic, ensuring a more comfortable travel experience for passengers boarding from Narnaul and intermediate stations.
