Police are taking steps to prevent stone pelting on the Vande Bharat Express in Raebareli by deploying officers at sensitive locations.
Raebareli police have stepped up their efforts to stop incidents of stone pelting on the Vande Bharat Express. This action comes after several such incidents were reported along the railway line from Bachharawan to Pariyawan.
To tackle this issue, seven specific spots known for stone pelting have been identified. Police officers will be stationed at these locations when the train passes to ensure passenger safety.
From now on, two police personnel will be present at each of these spots during the train’s passage. These locations include areas near the Double Gate, Champa Devi Temple, and other critical points along the railway line.
Moreover, police officers are required to take selfies and videos while on duty and share them in a departmental WhatsApp group. This measure will help in monitoring their presence effectively.
This new policing setup started on Monday, and the police will also keep an eye on suspicious individuals near the tracks. The data of such individuals will be coordinated with civil police for better surveillance.
Summary:
- Raebareli police are increasing security for the Vande Bharat Express.
- Seven spots of previous stone pelting incidents have been marked.
- Two officers will be stationed at each spot during train passes.
