South Western Railway and Konkan Railway have announced special train services between Yesvantpur and Madgaon to manage the extra rush during the Good Friday and Easter weekend in April 2026. These special trains will provide much-needed relief to passengers traveling between Bengaluru and the coastal regions of Karnataka and Goa.

The railway authorities have scheduled specific dates for these special runs to ensure smooth travel for holiday commuters. Passengers can book their tickets through the IRCTC website or PRS counters starting from April 1, 2026.
- Train No. 06271 Yesvantpur – Madgaon Jn. Special: Departs Yesvantpur at 11:55 PM on April 2, 2026 (Thursday) and reaches Madgaon at 5:30 PM the next day.
- Train No. 06272 Madgaon Jn. – Bengaluru Cantt. Special: Departs Madgaon at 11:00 AM on April 5, 2026 (Sunday) and reaches Bengaluru Cantt. at 5:20 AM the next day.
- Coach Composition: The trains will have two 2-tier AC coaches, two 3-tier AC coaches, nine sleeper coaches, four general second class coaches, and two luggage vans.
