Key Highlights of the Moradabad-Dhampur Rail Section Inspection

The inspection conducted on December 29, 2025, by GM Ashok Kumar Verma included a thorough check of station buildings, platforms, and waiting rooms. The officials specifically monitored the quality of construction and safety standards at the Dhampur station, where the redeveloped building is nearing completion. Special attention was given to the following facilities:

• Modernized entry and exit points for smooth passenger movement
• Improved drinking water and toilet facilities
• Divyangjan-friendly infrastructure and better lighting in circulating areas

The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is moving at a fast pace with a target to redevelop 1337 stations across India. As of April 1, 2026, work has been completed at 208 stations.
