According to NCR CPRO Shashikant Tripathi, these special trains are tailored to meet the high demand from tourists during the vacation period. Apart from the trains starting from Kanpur, several trains passing through Govindpuri station will also provide additional connectivity to Bihar and Delhi. Key railway officials confirmed the following details:
- The Sultanpur-LTT Express will run every Wednesday from Sultanpur and every Thursday from Mumbai.
- The Varanasi-LTT special will operate on Thursdays from Varanasi and Fridays from Mumbai.
- Train number 09195 has been revised to run as Pratapnagar Superfast Special with updated timings.
- Special trains between Meerut City and Santragachi are also scheduled for mid-April to handle local crowds.
- Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari noted that these services specifically target travelers from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Gujarat.
