Indian Railways has announced the extension of the Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Summer Special weekly train to accommodate the high passenger demand during the holiday season. The 09465/09466 Clone Special service will now operate from May 15, 2026, until June 26, 2026. This decision aims to provide more confirmed berths for travelers commuting between Gujarat and Bihar via Uttar Pradesh.

The weekly service connects Ahmedabad Junction (ADI) and Darbhanga Junction (DBG). Train number 09465 departs from Ahmedabad every Friday at 20:25 and reaches Darbhanga on Sunday morning at 10:30. For the return journey, train number 09466 leaves Darbhanga every Monday at 03:00 and arrives in Ahmedabad on Wednesday at 16:24. The train covers a total distance of approximately 1935 kilometers in about 38 hours.
