Details of Summer Special Trains passing through Gwalior

The new services include specific routes connecting major cities via Gwalior railway station. The Gwalior-Delhi special will operate every Thursday starting from April 2, 2026, while the return service from Delhi will run on Sundays. For travelers heading to Uttarakhand, the Bengaluru-Rishikesh special will be available every Friday until May 1. Additionally, the Durg-Haridwar special train will arrive at Gwalior every Monday morning at 5:05 AM to help passengers reaching religious destinations.

• Gwalior-Delhi Special: Operates every Thursday from April 2 to July 11.
• Bengaluru-Rishikesh Special: Runs every Friday via Gwalior until May 1.
• Durg-Haridwar Special: Train number 08743 reaches Gwalior on Mondays at 5:05 AM.
• Prayagraj-Hazrat Nizamuddin: Train number 04123/04124 will complete 31 trips via Gwalior.

Timings and Frequency of Special Services

The Prayagraj-Hazrat Nizamuddin special train is scheduled to run from March 15 to June 29, 2026. This train departs from Prayagraj every Wednesday and Sunday at 3:25 PM and reaches Gwalior at 2:20 AM the next day. The return journey from Hazrat Nizamuddin starts every Thursday and Monday at 3:45 PM. Most of these trains include a combination of General, Sleeper, and AC coaches to accommodate different passenger requirements during the vacation period.
