Indian Railways has announced temporary route diversions for 12 trains operating under the Dhanbad Division of the East Central Railway. These modifications are necessitated by essential infrastructure work, including the connectivity of the third rail line between Agasod and Bina stations and ongoing remodeling and non-interlocking operations at the Bina Yard in the West Central Railway zone. Public Relations Officer of the Bhopal Railway Division, Naval Agrawal, confirmed that these changes will be effective on various dates throughout October 2026. Travelers are strongly advised to verify their train numbers, scheduled routes, stops, and departure or terminal stations before beginning their journeys. These adjustments, finalized through official notifications released on August 21 and August 23, 2026, are part of a broader series of scheduling updates managed by Indian Railways to facilitate critical infrastructure upgrades across the national network.
