This essential maintenance work, aimed at ensuring long-term structural integrity and passenger safety, will affect local traffic flow starting from mid-July 2026.
- Closure Duration: July 12, 2026, to October 11, 2026.

- Alternative Route: Commuters are advised to use railway level crossing number 436.
- Authority: The project is being overseen by the North Central Railway, Jhansi Division.
Details of the Maintenance Work
The upcoming closure is necessary to facilitate comprehensive maintenance of the Road Under Bridge (RUB) located near Alipura-Daharrah village. As this underpass serves as a vital link for local transport, the railway authorities have planned the work to be completed over a three-month window to ensure all safety standards are met before reopening the passage to the public.
Guidance for Local Commuters
Manoj Kumar Singh, the Public Relations Officer for the Jhansi Rail Division, has formally requested public cooperation throughout the duration of this project. To minimize inconvenience, the railway has designated railway level crossing number 436 as the official alternative route. Local residents and vehicle operators are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and utilize this diversion to avoid unnecessary delays during the construction period.
The North Central Railway is committed to completing this maintenance work in a safe and timely manner. By prioritizing infrastructure upgrades now, the department aims to prevent future disruptions and enhance the overall safety of the railway-road intersection for years to come.
