- 22 trains will face regulation for 30 to 120 minutes at various stations between July 21 and July 30, 2026.
- Eight trains will be rescheduled, departing 90 to 150 minutes late from their originating stations.
- Two passenger trains, 64588 Tundla-Kanpur and 64587 Kanpur-Tundla, will be partially cancelled on July 30, 2026, operating only up to Rura station.
- Affected major trains include the Lucknow-New Delhi Shatabdi, Howrah-Bikaner, Puri-Anand Vihar, and Gorakhpur-Okha expresses.

This infrastructure work follows the recent high-profile redevelopment of Panki Dham Railway Station. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the station was transformed into a modern transport hub at a cost of approximately 25 crore rupees. Inaugurated virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 17, 2026, the station now features a two-story building, an executive lounge, and modern ticketing facilities.
