To ensure passenger safety and seamless crowd management, both railway authorities and district administration have deployed comprehensive security protocols across all major transit points.

- Strict DJ guidelines limiting music systems to 10 feet in height and 12 feet in width, with decibel levels capped at 75 dB.
- Mandatory price transparency requiring all dhabas and hotels on yatra routes to display Food & Drug Administration QR codes.
- Operational closures for all meat and liquor shops along designated pilgrimage routes.

Enhanced Surveillance at Gorakhpur Junction
SP Railway Lakshmi Niwas Mishra has confirmed that the GRP is operating on high alert. Detailed inspections have been carried out at all sensitive areas of Gorakhpur Junction, including parking zones and ticket counters, to prevent overcrowding and ensure that the movement of pilgrims does not disrupt regular railway operations. The administration is working closely with police officials to hold ongoing meetings with Kanwar associations to ensure full compliance with the new guidelines.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has personally overseen the preparations, emphasizing the need for discipline and cooperation. The administration has been directed to provide essential amenities, including potable water, sanitation, and hygienic sattvic food at various Kanwar camps. Furthermore, strict action has been promised against any antisocial elements attempting to spread rumors or disrupt the peace.
DIG Range Dr. S. Chanappa stated that there will be zero tolerance for security lapses, with sensitive locations being monitored around the clock. ADM City Gajendra Kumar confirmed that all logistical preparations, ranging from pothole-free road maintenance to adequate street lighting, are now complete. With a specialized security plan in place for every segment of the 75-kilometer route, authorities are confident in delivering a safe and orderly experience for all devotees traveling through Gorakhpur during this holy month.
