Indian Railways will start the regular operation of the 12527/12528 Chhapra–Anand Vihar Weekly Superfast Express from June 28, 2026. This service will provide direct connectivity between Bihar and Delhi, benefiting thousands of passengers. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary had previously flagged off the inaugural special run on June 19.

Sumit Kumar, CPRO of North Eastern Railway, mentioned that this service will strengthen the link between Delhi-NCR and Purvanchal. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that the project was delivered within 39 days to fulfill the government’s commitment to improving regional mobility.
