Ner Gorakhpur Diverted Trains Updates

The Railway administration in Uttar Pradesh has announced a short-term modification of train services due to operational adjustments necessitated by construction work and height restrictions along the route between Tinich and Gaur stations in the Lucknow division. These changes are aimed at ensuring smoother operations during this period of disruption. As a result, several trains will experience short-term terminations, rerouting, and modifications in their schedules.

Short-Term Termination and Rerouting

Several trains will be affected by short-term terminations and rerouting. The 14231 Prayagraj Sangam-Basti Express, operating on 23, 26 May, and 02 June 2025, will terminate its journey at Mankapur instead of reaching Basti. Similarly, the 14232 Basti-Prayagraj Sangam Express will commence its journey from Mankapur on those same dates. Additionally, several other trains, including the Anandvihara Terminal-Saharsa Express and the Thiruvananthapuram North-Gorakhpur Express, will also be rerouted through Gonda-Badni-Gorakhpur, affecting their usual stops at Khalilabad, Basti, and Mankapur stations.

Train Schedule Adjustments and Control Measures

In response to the operational changes, the schedule for several other trains will also be adjusted. The 04026 Delhi-Raxaul special train will see a revival with a delay of 180 minutes, while the 65116 Ayodhya Dham-Badni Memu train will resume operations with a 60-minute delay. Additionally, the Gorakhpur-Jammu Tavi Express and the Gomtinagar-Kamakhya Express will also experience delays of 30 and 60 minutes, respectively. Control measures will be implemented for various trains, such as the 19409 Sabarmati-Gorakhpur Express, which will run with a 75-minute delay, ensuring that passengers are informed about their travel times during this period of adjustment.
