Railway to Operate Weekly Special Trains from Sabarmati to Lucknow and Rajkot to Gorakhpur.

Special Train Services Overview

The Indian Railways will introduce two weekly special trains to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the festive season. The routes include the Sabarmati-Lucknow-Sabarmati train and the Rajkot-Gorakhpur-Rajkot train. The Sabarmati-Lucknow special train will operate from October 30 to November 27, making a total of five trips, while the Rajkot-Gorakhpur train will follow a similar schedule, also running five times between October 30 and November 27.

Sabarmati-Lucknow Train Details

The Sabarmati-Lucknow weekly special train is set to depart from Sabarmati every Wednesday at 10 PM, arriving in Lucknow at 10:50 PM the following Thursday. Conversely, the Lucknow-Sabarmati train will leave Lucknow at 11:50 PM on Thursdays, reaching Sabarmati at 9:30 PM on Fridays. This train will make several stops along its route, including Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar Junction, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agrafort, Tundla, and Kanpur Central stations.

Rajkot-Gorakhpur Train Details

The Rajkot-Gorakhpur weekly special train will depart from Rajkot every Wednesday at 3:15 PM, arriving in Gorakhpur at 9:30 PM on Thursday night. The return journey from Gorakhpur to Rajkot will take place every Thursday at 11:30 PM, with an expected arrival at Rajkot at 10 AM on Saturday. Similar to the Sabarmati-Lucknow route, this train will also make stops at various stations, including Surendranagar, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, and Bandikui.
