West Bengal Railway Update: Multiple trains on Haldia line to be short-terminated on July 1

Indian Railway has announced changes in the schedule of several trains running on the Haldia line in West Bengal. Due to planned maintenance work on the railway tracks, some trains will not reach their destination or will start from different stations on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Passengers are advised to check their train schedules carefully to avoid any inconvenience.

Which trains will end their journey early

Some trains that usually go to Haldia will now stop at Durgachak station. The affected trains are as follows:

  • 38051 Howrah-Haldia Local: Will terminate at Durgachak station.
  • 38053 Howrah-Haldia Local: Will terminate at Durgachak station.
  • 22330 Asansol-Haldia Express: Will terminate at Durgachak station.

Several trains will not start from Haldia station and will instead depart from other stations on the route:
