Western Railway Announces Festival Special Trains from Udhna to Chhapra and Mau for Holiday Travelers.

Special Festival Trains Announced

In light of the increased passenger demand during the festive season, Western Railway has introduced special trains departing from Udhna Railway Station in Surat, Gujarat. These festival special trains will operate between Chhapra and Mau Junction to accommodate the surge of travelers. To enhance convenience, the frequency of several trains has also been increased. Vineet Abhishek, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, has provided the schedule and details for these services.

Train Details and Schedule

The special Train No. 05116/05115 Udhna-Chhapra (Unreserved) will operate six trips, with Train No. 05116 departing from Udhna at 10:00 hours and arriving in Chhapra at 22:30 the following day on November 3, 10, and 17, 2024. Conversely, Train No. 05115 will leave Chhapra at 22:30 and reach Udhna at 08:00 the next day on November 1, 8, and 15, 2024. This route will include various stations such as Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, and Varanasi, featuring second-class general coaches. Additionally, Train No. 05026 Udhna-Mau Superfast Special will depart Udhna at 15:00 on October 31, 2024, and arrive in Mau at 21:00 the next day, stopping at multiple stations along the way and offering AC 3-tier and second-class general coaches.

Increased Frequency of Existing Services

Western Railway has also announced an extension of the frequency for several trains. Train No. 05018/05017 Udhna-Mau Superfast Special will make two additional trips, with Train No. 05018 running on November 17, 2024, and Train No. 05017 on November 16, 2024. Furthermore, the Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur (Unreserved) special train, numbered 05030/05029, will see an increase in its frequency, now running on November 16 and 20, 2024, for the Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus route. Reservations for Train No. 05026 and 05018 are currently open at all PRS counters and via the IRCTC website.
