Youth’s Leg Amputated After Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express Train Hits Him at Pahadpur Station in Gaya, Bihar.

A young man in Gaya lost his leg in a train accident at Pahadpur station.




A young man from Pahadpur, Fatehpur, was seriously injured when he was hit by a train on Tuesday evening at Pahadpur station on the Gaya-Koderma rail line.

The youth, identified as Mantu Kumar, had his leg amputated after being caught under the Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express train.


It is unclear whether the young man was getting off the train or had an accident while boarding. He was taken to CHC Fatehpur for initial treatment by railway security personnel stationed at Pahadpur station.

After receiving primary treatment, he was referred for further medical care to ensure better treatment for his injuries.


The young man’s leg had to be amputated due to the severity of the injuries sustained during the train accident.
