Bengaluru Train Services Altered: Vande Bharat Express Partially Cancelled Due to Engineering Works on October 12

There is an update regarding train services between Coimbatore and Bengaluru. This change is happening because of engineering work to increase the number of railway lines. The affected trains will be running differently on October 12.

The Coimbatore – Bengaluru Cantonment Vande Bharat Express, train number 20642, will not run between Baiyyappanahalli and Bengaluru Cantonment. Instead, it will go to SMVT Bengaluru railway station. It will stop for 2 minutes at Baiyyappanahalli.


For this train, the timing at Baiyyappanahalli will be around 1:03 PM to 1:05 PM. Similarly, the train from Bengaluru Cantonment to Coimbatore, number 20641, will also be partially cancelled between these two stations.

This train will start from SMVT Bengaluru at 2:20 PM and will also have a 2-minute stop at Baiyyappanahalli, arriving there between 2:28 PM and 2:30 PM.


Passengers should keep these changes in mind while planning their travels. It’s important to check the latest updates for any further alterations to services.
