Coimbatore-Bengaluru Train Services Altered on October 12 Due to Engineering Work Between Baiyyappanahalli and Bengaluru Cantonment

The Coimbatore to Bengaluru train service will see some changes on October 12. This is because of engineering work happening to expand the railway lines between Bengaluru Cantonment and Whitefield.

Specifically, Train No. 20642, which is the Coimbatore – Bengaluru Cantonment Vande Bharat Express, will be partially cancelled between Baiyyappanahalli and Bengaluru Cantonment. Instead, it will be diverted to SMVT Bengaluru station.


This train will have a quick stop at Baiyyappanahalli for two minutes, arriving at 1:03 PM and leaving at 1:05 PM. Similarly, Train No. 20641, the Bengaluru Cantonment – Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express, will also face changes on the same day.

This second train will be partially cancelled between Bengaluru Cantonment and Baiyyappanahalli as well. It will start from SMVT Bengaluru station at 2:20 PM and will stop at Baiyyappanahalli for two minutes, arriving at 2:28 PM and departing at 2:30 PM.


Travelers should keep these changes in mind when planning their journeys. It’s advisable to check the latest updates before traveling on these trains on October 12.
