New Delhi Amrit Bharat Express Train Launched, Enhancing Connectivity Between Bihar and Delhi Starting August 28, 2025

In a latest update, a new train named Amrit Bharat Express has been added to the train services in Uttar Pradesh. This train will connect Gaya in Bihar to Delhi, making travel easier for many people.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Amrit Bharat Express from Bodh Gaya via video link. This train will operate through important stops like Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Kanpur, and Prayagraj before reaching Delhi.


The service will start on August 28, 2025, and will run every Sunday and Thursday from Gaya to Delhi, and on Monday and Friday for the return journey. This will help passengers from both Bihar and Uttar Pradesh travel to Delhi conveniently.

The train will have a total of 22 coaches, including 8 sleeper coaches and 11 general coaches, along with a pantry car. It will leave Gaya at 4:30 PM and reach Delhi the next day at noon, making several stops along the way.


For the return journey, the train will depart from Delhi at 2:00 PM and arrive in Gaya at 8:55 AM the next day. This new service is expected to improve travel options for many passengers.
