A new Vande Bharat Express train between Bengaluru and Ernakulam is set to launch around mid-November 2023.



A new train service is coming soon! The railway ministry has announced that a Vande Bharat Express will start running between Bengaluru and Ernakulam next month. This is happening after a previous service was stopped over a year ago.

The railway minister mentioned that the new train will travel through Palakkad and make stops at several stations, including Thrissur, Coimbatore, and Salem. It is expected to cover the distance in about nine hours, making travel easier for many passengers.


This announcement has brought good news for many people in Bengaluru who wanted better train connections to Ernakulam. The demand for this service has been strong, especially since the speed of existing trains was reduced recently.
