On November 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Varanasi to launch four new Vande Bharat Express trains. This initiative aims to enhance India’s railway network significantly, making travel more efficient and comfortable for passengers.

The new trains will operate on four important routes: Banaras–Khajuraho, Lucknow–Saharanpur, Firozpur–Delhi, and Ernakulam–Bengaluru. These services are part of the government’s effort to provide modern, safe, and speedy railway options across the country.


For passengers, the Banaras–Khajuraho route will save about 2 hours and 40 minutes compared to current services. Similarly, the Lucknow–Saharanpur journey will take around 7 hours and 45 minutes, cutting down travel time by nearly an hour. The Firozpur–Delhi route will be the fastest, taking just 6 hours and 40 minutes.

In Southern India, the Ernakulam–Bengaluru train will reduce travel time by over two hours, making the journey in about 8 hours and 40 minutes. These trains are designed with modern features to enhance passenger comfort and safety.
