The Nakaha-Daliganj Passenger train will start running again from May 26. This service was stopped about six years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Northeast Railway has made this decision to help thousands of daily commuters who travel between Barabanki, Gonda, and Lucknow.

The train is expected to leave Nakaha at 11:10 PM and reach Daliganj at 9:25 AM. This service will be very helpful for people living in Barabanki, Gonda, and Lucknow. Additionally, passengers from Sitapur, Balrampur, and Shravasti districts will also benefit from this restoration.

Current status of preparations

Railway officials have confirmed that the rake of coaches has been arranged for the inauguration. Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, a member of the North Eastern Railway Consultative Committee, mentioned that the Railway Board has already issued the proposed schedule. All final operational tasks are currently being completed by the administration.
