To maintain quality, the food is prepared in modernized base kitchens monitored by CCTV and follows FSSAI guidelines.

The restaurant is managed by M/s Shifa Catering of Manamadurai under a five-year license. The interior of the coach features wooden paneling, decorative lighting, and comfortable seating to create a rail-local feel. This project is the first of its kind in the Madurai Division and aims to generate non-fare revenue for the railways.
