To assist students appearing for the Jharkhand Field Worker Competitive Examination (JFWCE) 2026, the Ranchi Railway Division has announced the operation of **five pairs of special examination trains**. These services are designed to manage the anticipated surge in passenger traffic and ensure that candidates from various districts across Jharkhand and Bihar reach their designated examination centers punctually. The written examination is scheduled to be held on **July 19, 2026**, with the special train services operating between **July 18 and July 20, 2026**.

* **Total Services:** A total of 10 special train journeys (5 pairs) are being introduced.
* **Strategic Routes:** Connections include Ranchi-Patna, Ranchi-Dumka, Tatanagar-Hazaribagh Road, and two pairs on the Ranchi-Garhwa Road route.
* **Focus on Convenience:** The initiative aims to reduce travel stress for thousands of candidates following the postponement of the original July 5 exam date.

Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, emphasized that these arrangements were made specifically to prioritize the convenience of the students. Shreya Singh, Senior DCM of the Ranchi Rail Division, added that the additional services are intended to de-congest regular trains and provide a seamless travel experience for all examinees.
The most significant service announced is the **Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi Examination Special (Train Nos. 08624/08623)**. This train will be equipped with **18 coaches**, comprising 14 sleeper class, 2 general second class, and 2 SLR/D coaches to maximize capacity.
In addition to the Patna service, the railway will operate **Ranchi-Dumka-Ranchi Unreserved Examination Specials**, **Tatanagar-Hazaribagh Road-Tatanagar Unreserved MEMU Examination Specials**, and **two pairs of Ranchi-Garhwa Road-Ranchi Unreserved MEMU Examination Specials**. These routes have been selected to ensure connectivity across key regions of the state.
Railway officials have urged all examinees to plan their journeys well in advance, arrive at the station ahead of the scheduled departure time, and follow all safety protocols to ensure a smooth and hassle-free transit.
