This initiative, which began operations on August 12, 2026, aims to simplify navigation for travelers who have difficulty moving between platforms and various station zones.

The project is fully aligned with Indian Railways’ policy, which encourages the integration of battery-operated vehicles through NGOs and charitable institutions as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mandates.

The initiative was made possible through the generous contribution of the Akhil Bharatiya Agrawal Mahila Sammelan, spearheaded by their president, Megha Agarwal. To ensure the service runs smoothly, the daily operations and maintenance of the vehicle are being managed by the Shri Gobind Trust, with trustee Suresh Agarwal overseeing the efforts.
The inauguration ceremony saw a strong turnout from railway officials, including ACM Rakesh Barnwal and RPF ASC M.K. Khan, alongside other dedicated station staff. During the event, officials emphasized that this service is now considered essential station property.
