On the return leg, the Sikar-Prayagraj Special (04162) departs Sikar every Tuesday at 3:25 PM, arriving in Prayagraj at 8:50 AM on Wednesday. This route has been strategically planned to provide seamless access not only to Khatu Shyam Dham but also to other significant landmarks, including Panki Dham in Kanpur, the Taj Mahal in Agra, and the cultural heritage sites of Jaipur and Ringas.
Focus on Pilgrimage Infrastructure
North Central Railway officials have stated that this special service is a dedicated effort to streamline pilgrimage travel. By connecting these key cities, the railway aims to reduce the transit burden on devotees who frequently visit the Sikar region. Furthermore, this service aligns with ongoing efforts by local authorities to enhance station infrastructure and passenger amenities near the Khatu Shyam temple complex. Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets in advance through the IRCTC portal or at station counters to ensure a comfortable travel experience during this period.
