Prime Minister Modi will launch four new trains in Bihar on September 15, improving connectivity for many regions.
On September 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch four new trains from Purnia in Bihar. This includes the Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat, Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat, Saharsa-Amritsar Amrit Bharat, and Jogbani-Erode Amrit Bharat Express trains.
The Vande Bharat and two Amrit Bharat Express trains will pass through Muzaffarpur. Additionally, there will be an Amrit Bharat Express running between Jogbani and Erode in Tamil Nadu. Currently, five Amrit Bharat Express trains are already operating in North Bihar.
This new service will significantly help people from Kosi, Mithilanchal, and Tirhut areas. It will make travel easier and boost trade with Nepal. Presently, there is only one Intercity train running from Muzaffarpur to Jogbani.
The Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat Express will be the first direct train from Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad, expected to benefit around 3,000 to 5,000 passengers. This will be Muzaffarpur’s first Amrit Bharat Express train.
The Saharsa-Amritsar Amrit Bharat Express will also start operations as the second Amrit Bharat Express from Saharsa. The first is already running to Lokmanya Tilak Terminal weekly.
