Indian Railways has announced a significant upgrade for passengers traveling between Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The Tanakpur-Achhnera Special service, previously operating under train numbers 05062/05061, is being converted into a regular express service. Under the revised schedule, train 15094 is set to depart from Tanakpur at 4:05 AM, reaching its destination at Achhnera by 12:20 PM. For the return journey, train 15093 will depart Achhnera at 3:30 PM and reach Tanakpur at 11:45 PM. The train covers a distance of roughly 363 to 364 kilometers with a total travel time of 8 hours and 10 minutes.
This service, managed by the Izzatnagar Division of North Eastern Railway, connects several key towns. Major stations on the route include Khatima, Pilibhit, Bhojipura, Izzatnagar, Bareilly City, Bareilly Junction, Budaun, Ujhani, Soron Shukar Kshetra, Kasganj, Sikandra Rao, Hathras City, Mathura Cantt, and Mathura Junction.

To enhance passenger experience, the train will feature LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) rakes, known for their safety and comfort features. The coach composition is designed to cater to various passenger needs, including eight general coaches, six chair car coaches, one AC chair car coach, one generator car, and one dedicated coach for disabled passengers.
