Muzaffarpur is getting a new Vande Bharat Express train. Prime Minister Modi will launch it on September 15. This train will travel from Farbisganj to Danapur and will arrive in Muzaffarpur at 9:05 PM.
The new train, numbered 02631, will make stops at several stations such as Araria Court, Purnia Junction, and Hajipur before reaching Danapur. It will leave Farbisganj at 3:30 PM.
Passengers can now enjoy two Vande Bharat Express trains passing through Muzaffarpur. The first one already operates from Patliputra to Gorakhpur via Muzaffarpur. The second train will also run from Jogbani to Danapur through Muzaffarpur.
Additionally, the Amrit Bharat Express will start its service between Jogbani and E-Road. This train will operate as an inaugural special initially, with routes covering several key stations.
In a separate update, there are new safety measures at the Muzaffarpur Junction. A three-level investigation is underway after two LED TVs were damaged by an overloaded cart. Height restrictions on carts are now in place to prevent such incidents.
