The new trains will run between Secunderabad and Pune, and Hyderabad and Nanded. Proposals for these routes are being prepared by the Ministry of Railways. On Monday, a new Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express was flagged off, which will also stop at Mancherial railway station.

For the convenience of passengers, Mancherial station will be revamped with modern facilities under a scheme costing ₹26 crores. Additionally, a foot overbridge will be built at the station for ₹3.5 crores to help passengers cross safely.

Vivek Venkataswamy, the Labour Minister, requested that the Kerala Express train also stop at Mancherial for the many devotees traveling to Sabarimala during the pilgrimage season. The focus now is on enhancing connectivity and passenger amenities in the region.

  • A foot overbridge will be constructed for passenger safety.
