What’s inside:
This article talks about the heavy fog in Haryana affecting train schedules and the weather forecast for the coming week.
Haryana is currently facing a big problem with fog. The weather department has issued an alert for 16 districts due to this dense fog.
This fog is causing delays in train services. In Hisar, four trains have been running late, and at Ambala Cant Station, 19 trains, including the Vande Bharat Express, arrived later than scheduled. In Bhivani, one track is already disrupted.
In Rewari, visibility has dropped to zero because of the fog, leading to train delays of about 30 minutes. Passengers have shared that these delays are making it tough for them to reach work on time, with trains like Haryana Express and Pooja Express arriving several hours late.
The fog was thick from early morning until around 10 AM, causing people to feel quite cold. After 11 AM, the fog cleared up a bit, giving way to sunshine, providing some relief, but the chill returned by evening as cold winds picked up.
The weather department predicts that clouds will hang around for a week, with temperatures likely to reach a maximum of 22 degrees and a minimum of 11 degrees Celsius. There might also be light rain on Sunday and Tuesday, which could increase the cold.

- 16 districts are under weather alerts due to low visibility.
- Delays of up to several hours are reported for multiple trains.
