The train service will operate 140 trips every day during the last ten days of Ramadan. This change aims to provide smooth travel for visitors moving between Makkah and Madinah. The schedule is designed to run round-the-clock to manage crowd levels effectively at all stations.

What Are the Routes and Ticket Prices
The increased train frequency covers all five major stations on the network. These include Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, King Abdulaziz International Airport, and King Abdullah Economic City. Economy class tickets for the Makkah to Madinah route start at 150 SAR, while business class is priced at around 315 SAR. For passengers traveling from Jeddah to Makkah, economy tickets cost 40 SAR and business class is 70 SAR. Prices might see slight seasonal adjustments based on the time of booking.

Travelers need to book their tickets in advance using the official Haramain website or mobile application to confirm seat availability. Officials advise passengers to reach the station 30 to 45 minutes before the departure time to clear security and crowd management checks smoothly. The standard baggage policy remains active, allowing one large bag up to 25kg and one small hand-carry bag per person. Management has doubled the technical and field staff to manage the flow of 140 daily departures without any delays.
