The Railway Ministry has officially regularized the Raxaul–Tirupati Special Train, providing a permanent transport link for long-distance commuters and pilgrims. Previously operating as special trains 07052 and 07051, the service will now run as the Tirupati-Raxaul-Tirupati Weekly Express. BJP MP Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal confirmed the approval from the Railway Board, noting that the move follows consistent requests for better connectivity from the region.
Key changes and new train numbers
Passengers should note that the old special train numbers 07052 and 07051 have been replaced with the regular train numbers 17434 and 17433. This change means the service is no longer temporary and will appear in the permanent railway timetable. The South Central Railway had initially introduced this service to manage passenger rush, but its high demand led to this permanent status. The transition to a regular express train ensures better seat availability and planning for travelers heading towards South India.
Major halts and route information
The Tirupati-Raxaul-Tirupati Weekly Express covers a total distance of approximately 2800 kilometers. It connects several key states and cities, facilitating travel across North and South India. Below are the major stations where the train will stop:
