The construction of the new double-line rail bridge over the Ganga river near Mokama is in its final phase. How the new bridge will impact rail traffic and passengers
This bridge is expected to be a game changer for Bihar by improving connectivity between the north and south parts of the state. It will specifically benefit the movement of essential goods like petroleum and coal to industrial areas in Barauni and Begusarai. To ensure trains move without any delay, Rail Over Rail (ROR) structures have been built on both sides to connect with the Jhajha-Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction section.
