Nathnagar station in the Bhagalpur district is set for a major upgrade following a recent official review. Neeraj Verma, the Principal Chief Operations Manager of Eastern Railway, inspected the station and directed officials to improve passenger amenities. The development focus will be on enhancing accessibility for elderly and disabled travelers along with significant improvements in station cleanliness and security.

Proposed facilities for passenger comfort
Eastern Railway plans to construct ramps to help disabled and elderly passengers move around the station easily. New passenger sheds and additional water booths will also be installed to provide relief to travelers during their journey. The height of the platform will be raised to make boarding and deboarding trains safer and more convenient for every passenger. These changes aim to address the long standing demands of the local commuters.

To ensure a clean environment, the station premises will see improved sanitation protocols under the new instructions. Barricading will be done to prevent the entry of stray animals and illegal vehicles into the station area.
