A project for a two-lane railway underbridge has been approved at the Samtipura crossing. This bridge will help people reach the National Highway bypass easily and solve the problem of frequent traffic jams. The bridge will have a width and height of 4.50 meters and a length of 50 feet. During its construction, the crossing will remain closed for about one month, and traffic will be moved to the FCI C-45 railway crossing.

The Jalore railway station is being upgraded under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with a budget of 18.74 crore rupees. The work started in 2023 and is expected to finish by March 2025. The station will get a new building, waiting rooms, VIP rooms, and a 12-meter wide foot overbridge. Additionally, the Ratanpura railway underbridge (C-46) is undergoing structural changes to increase its width and base area due to the doubling of the Samdari-Bhiladi rail section.
