The examination is set to take place on Sunday, July 12, 2026, and the special railway services will be operational on July 11 and July 12, 2026, to manage passenger influx and prevent overcrowding at major stations.
Key details for candidates:
- Exam Date: Sunday, July 12, 2026.
- Exam Timing: Single shift from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Reporting Time: Candidates must reach centers between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM; late entry is strictly prohibited.
- Key Railway Routes: Services will connect Patna, Chhapra, Gaya, Buxar, Jhajha, Biharsharif, Pawapuri Road, and Nalanda.
Strict Examination Protocols and Security
Candidates are reminded that the examination will be held under stringent security protocols. To ensure fairness, authorities have implemented biometric fingerprinting, CCTV surveillance, and photography of candidates at the entrance. Furthermore, active signal jammers will be deployed at all centers. Prohibited items include mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, and any form of written material or plain paper. It is important to note that no candidate will be permitted to leave the hall before the conclusion of the exam, and restroom access will be restricted during the final 30 minutes.
District Administration Guidelines
In addition to railway arrangements, local district administrations have taken preventive measures to maintain order. Section 144 of the CrPC will be enforced within a 200-meter to 500-meter radius of examination centers in districts including Araria, Biharsharif, and Buxar. This order prohibits unauthorized gatherings and the carrying of weapons. District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police are personally overseeing the logistical and security arrangements to ensure a peaceful examination process. Candidates are advised to carry their valid admit card and a government-issued photo ID to avoid any last-minute hurdles at either the railway station or the examination venue.
