Western Railway has introduced a weekly summer special train between Bhavnagar Terminus and Haridwar to manage the seasonal rush. Train numbers 09271 and 09272 will perform eight trips in each direction from April 12 to May 31, 2026. This service is specifically designed to help pilgrims traveling to Haridwar and Kedarnath during the summer vacation period.

Train Schedule and Key Stoppages
The train service provides a direct connection between Gujarat and Uttarakhand. The journey covers approximately 1677 km and takes between 34 to 36 hours depending on the direction. Below are the primary details regarding the operation:
- Train 09271: Departs Bhavnagar Terminus every Sunday at 4:25 AM and reaches Haridwar on Monday at 3:00 PM.
- Train 09272: Departs Haridwar every Monday at 4:25 PM and arrives in Bhavnagar on Wednesday at 4:35 AM.
- Major Route: The train passes through Sihor, Botad, Surendranagar Gate, Viramgam, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwar Jn, Ajmer, Phulera, Ringas, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt, Old Delhi, and Meerut City.
Coach Composition and Route Diversions
This special train uses the rake of the cancelled Janmabhoomi Express to provide maximum capacity for passengers. Travelers should note specific route changes for certain dates in April due to operational reasons. The coach structure and diversion details are as follows:
