Holi Special Train Services
In anticipation of the increased passenger traffic during the Holi festival, the Indian Railways has introduced special trains to accommodate travelers. These services include routes from Patna to Udhna and Danapur to Valsad, as well as additional trains connecting Delhi and Anand Vihar to Darbhanga, Raxaul, and Barauni. This initiative aims to ensure that passengers can travel comfortably and conveniently during the festive season.
Train Schedules and Stops
The special trains will operate on specific schedules. The 09025/09026 Valsad-Danapur-Valsad Special will run from Valsad every Monday from March 3 to June 30 and from Danapur every Tuesday from March 4 to July 1. The 09045/09046 Udhna-Patna Superfast Special will operate every Friday from March 7 to June 27 and from Patna every Saturday from March 8 to June 28. Additionally, one pair of trains will now stop at Vena station and Rahui Halt to enhance passenger convenience. The Rajgir-Patna Express Special (03249, 03250) will begin stopping at Vena station from March 4, while the Rajgir Danapur Intercity Express (13233, 34) will stop at Rahui Halt.
Additional Trains Between Major Cities
The Holi special trains also include various services from Delhi and Anand Vihar. The train number 04012/04011 Delhi-Darbhanga Festival Special will run on March 4, 7, 11, 14, and 18, departing Delhi at 19:30 and reaching Darbhanga the next day at 16:30. The 04026 Delhi-Raxaul Festival Special will operate on March 6, 13, and 20, leaving Delhi at 23:05 and arriving in Raxaul at 19:00 the following day. Additionally, the Anand Vihar-Barauni Festival Special (04020/04019) will run on March 16, departing Anand Vihar at 19:30 and reaching Barauni the next day at 18:00.
