What changes will passengers see inside the coaches?

The upgrade will focus on comfort and cleanliness across nearly 100 services. The railway will improve toilets by replacing doors, locks, washbasins, flushing systems, and drainage. Passengers will also get better seating with new upholstery, mobile charging ports, snack tables, footrests, armrests, roller blinds, and magazine pockets.

How will the ride quality and safety improve?

To make the journey smoother, the railway will work on reducing jerks in the coaches. Improvements will be made to the vestibule and gangway areas, as well as the overhead panels and flooring.
