The Ministry of Railways has officially granted approval for a new operational halt for the popular Jiyarat Express at Dildarnagar station and the scheduled stop is set to commence on August 26, 2026. This new addition is expected to significantly improve connectivity and convenience for daily commuters, religious travellers, and local residents in the region who rely on this route for long-distance travel.
The Jiyarat Express (Train No. 12395/12396) connects Rajendra Nagar Terminal and Ajmer Junction, and it will now include Dildarnagar as a scheduled stop in its route itinerary. This decision comes after sustained advocacy efforts for the halt led by JDU Uttar Pradesh state spokesperson Vineet Kumar Tiwari and Nalanda MP Kaushalendra Kumar, who actively represented the long-pending demands of the local community.
Gratitude Expressed For New Halt
Following the official announcement of the approval on August 22, 2026, Vineet Kumar Tiwari publicly expressed his gratitude to the Railway Minister for acknowledging and fulfilling this long-standing public demand. Passengers planning to board the Jiyarat Express from Dildarnagar can now look forward to checking updated schedules and booking tickets accordingly through the IRCTC portal or railway reservation counters as the implementation date approaches.
